About Trill Jimi
I moved to Thailand in August to step away from the pace and distractions of life in America and return to a more disciplined, intentional way of living. What began as a personal reset led me unexpectedly to a traditional Kung Fu school in the mountains of Pai — a discovery that would change the direction of my life.

Before Kung Fu, my foundation was built through years of calisthenics, physical discipline, and spiritual practice. I’ve spent over a decade exploring strength, movement, consciousness, wellness, and holistic health — sharing that journey publicly with a global audience. Through my work, I’ve reached millions of people across platforms and have been featured internationally, including on HBO, for spreading messages rooted in presence, health, and conscious living.

In November, I formally became an instructor at Nam Yang Kung Fu, while remaining a dedicated student myself. I continue to train daily, learning directly through repetition, humility, and lived practice. My role is both teacher and practitioner — guiding others while staying rooted in the path of continual learning.
About Master Iain Armstrong
Master Iain Armstrong is a traditional Kung Fu master with over four decades of training and teaching experience. He is a lineage holder in the Nam Yang system and is widely respected for his depth of knowledge, discipline, and commitment to preserving traditional Kung Fu as a lifelong practice rather than a performance art.

As the founder of the Nam Yang Mountain Retreat in Pai, Thailand, Master Iain has dedicated his life to creating an immersive environment where students from around the world can train seriously — physically, mentally, and energetically. His teaching emphasizes structure, repetition, correct mechanics, internal development, and the cultivation of character through daily practice.

In addition to his lineage and decades of experience, Master Iain is also a two-time world Kung Fu champion. However, his focus remains firmly on traditional training, integrity of the art, and guiding students toward long-term growth rather than short-term achievement.
